Scout Woggle Knot Jig

Perfect for tying a scout woggle, you'll need 1.5m of cord to tie this knot.

How to Tie a 3-Lead, 4-Bight Turk’s Head Knot:

1. Install the screws using the provided Allen key.
2. Secure the cord with an elastic band at A1.
3. Follow this wrapping sequence:
   • From A1 to B2
   • From B2 to A4
   • From A4 to B1
   • From B1 (under the cord) to A3
   • From A3 (under the cord) to B4
   • From B4 (under the cord, then over) to A2
   • From A2 (under the cord, then over) to B3
   • From B3 (under the cord, then over) to A1
4. Trace the knot again with the same or a different cord.
5. Remove the screws and slowly tighten the knot, ensuring all strands stay parallel.
6. When the knot is tight, roll the mandrel with the knot on a hard surface to flatten its face.
7. Remove the knot from the mandrel and tie, stitch, or melt the ends together.

With a bit of practice, the Turk's Head knot will take shape, making it perfect for woggles!
